DenizBank is Corporate Sponsor of TORC...

Providing remarkable financial support to development of Turkish maritime sector via its commercial operations, DenizBank also fulfills its social responsibilities and continues its efforts to ensure that sailing is known more in Turkey and this prestigious field of sports is spread to larger masses of the society. In this context, DenizBank has been corporate sponsor of Turkish Off-Shore Racing Club (TORC) since 2008.

Sponsoring also ‘Navy Cup Sabah Off-Shore Yacht Races’ in past years, DenizBank accelerates its support for sailing through its cooperation with TORC.

In the framework of DenizBank’s corporate sponsorship for TORC, all the races in TORC trophy are named as “DenizBank-TORC Trophy Yacht Races”. During all the races in TORC’s program, DenizBank and TORC logos are used together as inseparable logos. Again in the framework of this sponsorship, “Marmara Cup”, the biggest race of the trophy and the most important off-shore race in Marmara Sea is called “DenizBank Marmara Cup”. Many other trophies are organized under “DenizBank – TORC” name.

Main shareholder of DenizBank, Dexia Group is a company providing intensive support to sailing. Within the framework of the future cooperation with TORC Sailing School; voluntary people will be able to learn sailing with the support of TORC and through DenizClub, which organizes training sessions and social events via DenizAkademi for DenizBank staff members.
