In Turkey, according to leasing law No: 3226, only financial leasing is allowed. Description due to this law; Leasing is a method of financing allowing a lessee the usage right of the investment with fixed payments while the lessor retains ownership. At the end of the contract period, ownership should be transferred to the lessee with a symbolic value written in the leasing agreement.

DFH Group established Deniz Finansal Kiralama as its leasing company in December 1997.

Concurrently, the total assets of DenizLeasing also increased from $126.9 million in 2004 to $ 229.7 million in 2005 and to $510.5 million in 2006. Finally shareholder's equity raised from $11.8 million 2004 to $22.5 million in 2005 reached to $62.8 million in 2006.
